Favouring the urban jungle

This, is Clark Street, one of Port Melbourne's leafiest, and hence most desirable streets. It's avenue of London Plane trees make it look like many a street in Middle Park; perhaps bay-side's most desirable suburb.

This meanwhile, is Princes Street, a parallel street with generally similar heritage dwellings. Can you spot the difference?

I can understand that not everyone is bothered about the many environmental benefits that trees bring to an urban environment, but apparently some residents of Princes Street are not even bothered about the helping hand the council is currently offering to their property values. Odd.
