606

The chances of getting run over by a bus increased slightly today. Route 606 to St Kilda (and now Elwood and Elsternwick) has been upgraded from a virtually useless, to an approaching adequate, service. It now runs (hourly) at weekends, and every 40 minutes during the week (now until gone 7pm).
It's an oddly residential route, approaching from the North along Bridge Street before continuing, after a tiny appearance on Bay Street, down Liardet Street. I can't help feeling that some form of public transport along Beaconsfield Parade would be a much more visible, and therefore viable, link between the inner bay-side suburbs.
