Go Bernadene

For the 5,965 of you who voted last weekend (and the 4,641 of those eligible who, for whatever reason, did not), the results for the Sandridge Ward local election are now official. With prolific Port blogger Janet Bolitho having stepped aside, we'd had three new faces thrust into our hands, and through our letter boxes (though spare a thought for the residents of Bayside City Council who had to express their preference order for all 20 of their candidates!).
CAPP candidate Bernadene Voss was the decisive winner out of first preference votes (although things were much closer once other preferences had been distributed) and joins four other new Port Phillip councillors this term.
