One for the vegos

Over two years since the sad demise of Bowl of Soul, the skinny meat avoiders of Port Melbourne are still without a dedicated source of wholesome tucker. As I painstakingly visited every pub in the area, I fully expected to find the same one or two vego options on offer, and I'd naively assumed that places like the Clare Castle would be non starters. How wrong I was.
The local pubs with the widest range of vegetarian main courses are as follows:
The most common offering is some form of salad, however veggie burger, risotto and vegetable stack are also popular options. However as the 'menu' below shows, there's actually a surprisingly wide array of choices around town.
