Another one bites

The local pub scene remains dynamic as ever. The Palace gastropub, having been dropped by celebrity chef Luke Mangan perhaps wasn't working out as well as its owners had hoped (despite it's fantastic beer garden).

It seems that the pub that started life as Meagher's Family Hotel is about to be reincarnated again (with a name destined to prove rather more tricky to find in Google search results). I guess those vouchers weren't much use after all.
