Blue revolution

Despite it being barely six months since they were installed, the blue bikes of Beach Street are already one of the five most popular Bikeshare stations. This may be helped by the nearby IGA Express joining the scheme to sell helmets for $5 (and buy them back for $3).

It does make you wonder whether another suburban station, at the opposite end of Beaconsfield Parade, might make for a popular alternate form of public transport for getting to and from St Kilda.
