Without ceremony, another car share vehicle has arrived on Rouse Street in front of the existing Flexicar 'pod'.
Unlike its competitor scheme, Green Share has a plan with no monthly commitment (although a $150 joining fee). With inclusive insurance and fuel, these can be a good alternative to car ownership for low usage drivers. The cars have been chosen for their fuel efficiency, low emissions and compact size. This combined with the pay-per-use disincentive to taking short trips in theory means less pollution, less congestion and ultimately a healthier city.
