Disappointingly, you never actually see clowns walking down Bay Street, but the fact nevertheless remains that (for the time being) Port Melbourne has a quirky asset hiding quietly in the old naval drills hall.

For the next three and a half weeks it will be even quieter than normal, as Circus Oz have set up camp on Birrarung Marr for their latest show From the Ground Up. Ticket prices range from $92 down to $40, which is well worth it in my book.
